What threatens our seas

Pollution, overfishing, the climate crisis and acidification are just a few of the diverse threats that threaten the ocean habitat.

The oceans cover about 70 percent of our planet and play a fundamental role in the balance of the entire ecosystem. They provide habitat for countless species, provide food, help regulate the climate and produce half of the oxygen we breathe. Unfortunately, the oceans are under acute threat.

Our goal

As a pop-up gallery, the OCEAN GALLERY wants to inspire enthusiasm for the topic of marine protection, generate donations and actively contribute to it help shape positive change.
