The goal of the gallery is to raise awareness of the fragility of the oceans, generate donations and help shape positive change.
FOUNDER OF THE OCEAN GALLERY
With the concept of the OCEAN GALLERY, the ocean photographer Julia Ochs creates a connection between art and activism. The works of the Stuttgart photographer Julia Ochs capture the diverse facets, colors and shapes of our seas. Her photographs impressively capture fascinating water textures, breathtaking landscapes and the multi-faceted beauty of the seas.
It takes visitors on a visual journey along the coasts and deep into the vastness of the ocean. At the same time, the gallery has an ambitious goal: to raise awareness of the urgent need to protect the oceans and to actively support various marine conservation projects financially through the sale of the artworks.
In March 2024, the artist Julia Ochs was honored with the Undine Award with the gallery.
