Ocean photographer and founder of the OCEAN GALLERY, Julia Ochs, brings the ocean to the grand stage – in a unique fusion of classical music and her immersive ocean visuals. Her work meets symphonic masterpieces: Alexander Glazunov’s The Sea and Claude Debussy’s La Mer.

As the orchestra translates the ocean’s vastness, depth, and force into sound, striking images unfold on the screen: underwater scenes of meditative stillness and gentle movements of the sea, dramatic Arctic landscapes, and rare encounters with orcas.

After its premiere in collaboration with the Badisches Staatstheater, the production will continue at the Theater Plauen-Zwickau. The aim is to bring this concept to further concert halls, inspiring audiences and raising awareness for the importance of ocean conservation – through art that touches both heart and mind.
